Vida Court’s Support Social Care Heroes nomination for July is Mel Oldroyd!
Mel always gives 110% in everything she does especially in her role as Team Leader. Mel reacts quickly and efficiently in all areas of her work to ensure safety and compliance. Mel also takes time out of her day to always support new team members and dedicates time to share her knowledge with the new staff. This is so they feel welcomed, confident and valued in their new role.
Mel‘s enthusiasm for her role and delivering person centred care is absolutely soaring! Mel goes out of her way to create person centred care plans by building brilliant rapports with residents and family members to enrich the lives of our residents.
Mel is hungry for knowledge and development and is always looking for new opportunities to improve her practice. Her attitude is very much ‘I don’t know but I will find out, or I’ve never done that but let me at it and I will try’. We could not ask for any more and we are truly proud of her!! ✨
