Victory for Vida Healthcare at the Great British Care Awards
Harrogate-based Vida Healthcare has been recognised as the region’s leading care provider at the Great British Care Awards.
Dementia care specialist Vida Healthcare was presented with the ‘Best Care Employer for Yorkshire & the Humber’ award at the regional finals of the Great British Care Awards, which took place on Friday 12 November.
The dementia care provider was chosen thanks to its ongoing commitment to creativity and innovation, both in terms of care delivery and staff support. The judges were particularly impressed with the unique training service, Vida Academy, which has recently been established to offer complete support and training opportunities for staff throughout their career at Vida Healthcare.
James Rycroft, managing director at Vida Healthcare, commented: “It’s important to us that we continue to strive to be as creative and innovative as possible in our approach to care delivery, and the recruitment and retention of staff. Our staff are the lifeblood of our service and without them we wouldn’t be able to offer such an exceptional standard of care to our residents. This award is a testament of the dedication and commitment shown by our staff, and the sacrifices they’ve made during the ongoing pandemic. I couldn’t be prouder of every team member at Vida.”
The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK which celebrate excellence across the care sector. The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to those individuals and care providers which have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
