RESIDENTIAL DEMENTIA CARE

All three of our care homes in Harrogate offer residential dementia care, caring for people living with Alzheimer’s Disease, young onset dementia, Vascular dementia, Lewy bodies dementia and more. The homes are modern and homely with a range of indoor and outdoor communal areas which allow residents to be as sociable or private as they wish. The houses have been carefully designed with the needs of people living with dementia in mind.

Residential dementia care is a non-nurse-led environment supported by highly skilled team leaders. Residents at Vida Healthcare tend to not require clinical oversight but still receive oversight from a GP and district nurses, should they require that for both physical and mental health.

Some people may be advanced in their journey with dementia but this does not mean they require nursing care. In fact, residential dementia care may be the best care for them. All of your care, meals and laundry are included in our fees. We do offer extra services such as chiropodist, hairdresser and physiotherapist at an additional cost.
