
FAMILY COMMUNICATIONS
Effective communication with families is essential, and here at Vida Healthcare we have a communications app called Omura Communications. The app offers a news feed for families and friends to receive updates about Vida Healthcare, along with photographs and videos of your loved one. The app acts as a lifeline for families allowing you to view and keep up to date where ever you may be in the world.



Wellbeing – It’s the Simple Things
We know that giving people a sense of purpose and self worth is vitally important to their wellbeing. Whilst we do have wellbeing facilities, it is ingrained into our staff that it is our responsibility to help our residents live a joyful and fulfilled day. We are focused on maintaining the independence and dignity of our residents, which might be just helping someone make a cup of tea or house tasks like washing up and setting the table.
At Vida we support our residents to remain a part of the local community and be involved around the home if they would like to do be.
We regularly organise outings to the local town, parks and gardens and we put on many events, such as our summer fairs, for residents their friends and families to enjoy together at their home.



Home Comforts & Laundry
Every day we offer a choice of delicious and nutritious meal options, taking into account dietary needs and preferences. Everything we serve is home cooked from fresh seasonal ingredients. Meals are served at regular meal times and residents can choose to join us in one of our dining areas or eat in the privacy of their own room.
We provide a full laundry service and for added peace of mind, we utilise Ozone technology in our laundry processes for enhanced disinfection. We also use Ozone technology to enhance the cleaning procedures within our homes.
Funding and Costs
We accept all funding channels; Self-funding, Continuing Healthcare (CHC), Local Authority (LA), Section 117 and top-ups. For more information about funded care visit Gov.uk or speak to your GP or Social Services.
